Girish Sastry

Girish works on standards and assessments for safe frontier AI development practices. He was previously a core writer for the International AI Safety Report and an advisor on technical AI policy. Before that, he spent nearly five years as a researcher on Policy Research at OpenAI, where he worked on capability evaluations, AI forecasting, and compute governance. He has a bachelor's in Computer Science from Yale University.
